The week-end again – so time to crush some more fruits and vegetables. We use a hodge-podge of mixtures based on what sounds good and what we have available. Today’s juice was the result of smashing the following produce:
1 bunch of fresh parsley
A big handful of spinach
2 roma tomatoes
This one came out green but had a sweet flavor. We loved it. In fact, we haven’t made a combo yet that we disliked. I guess that momentous occasion will arrive eventually – I’ll be sure to share if we come up with a stinker.
Juicing for breakfast seems to provide a lot of energy and when a large portion of the juice is from vegetables, it seems to stick with you and holds off hunger.
I read somewhere that some people skim off the foam, but we like it, so we don’t bother with that detail.
Cleaning up the juicer is a chore, but not as bad as I had anticipated. I think I had heard so many horror stories about clean up of the juicer that anything less than horrible seemed easy.
